  A real home from home, the cottage has everything for a comfortable stay. Plenty of space, lovely garden, lounge and conservatory both opening onto patio, outdoor seating, beautifully kept, spotless bathrooms. I could go on. The only things to perhaps note are (1) that the front bedroom wardrobes are not available for use and (2) the property is semi-detached, which we didn’t realise from the details. This was not a problem. We couldn’t hear a sound from next door and most of the living space is far from the party wall. However, if you have a particular desire to be detached (we have autistic children who can be very loud so try not to be a nuisance to neighbours) this may be a point for consideration. All in all, this is a really delightful place to stay.

  A great location to get straight onto the beach and see a marvellous sunset. Kitchen might feel a little cramped if 7 people were there but we ate out at the many superb restaurants around the town and didn’t have a problem. Samphire, the Lazy Lobster, Whitstable Oyster Company all amazingly good. Please Sir great for takeaway burger and Ossies fish and chips also good and Smack Inn and Old Neptune great at lunchtimes. Windy Corner Cafe really friendly. Parking space was fine for my Volvo EV30 which is suv sized but a little tight getting into it. Osprey high speed charger was useful but sort of hidden away behind The Marine Hotel in Tankerton so finding it wasn’t that easy. Easy walk into town. Everywhere is really dog friendly.

  A very attractive cottage in an unrivalled location with the amazing benefit for Whitstable in having on site parking. Kitchen was well equipped and the living room quite snug but comfortable. Bedrooms all very attractively furnished, but note limited headroom which is clearly shown in the photographs for the two upper floor bedrooms. It should be pointed out that due to the nature of the cottage there are a lot of steps and relatively steep staircases which require great care, particularly the staircase to the top floor all painted white including the stair treads themselves. It was very useful to have a second loo in addition to the shower room.

  The house is in an excellent position for exploring Whitstable and the surroundings areas. Great views of the sea and sunsets. It was comfortable for 5 people but anymore it would start to feel a little cramped, especially in the kitchen re the table and benches as well as the seating in the sitting room. The kitchen looks bigger in the pictures and the storage was limited. There was no storage in double bedroom on the first floor expect for a few hooks on the back of the door, so take extra hooks or boxes to store clothes in. Serenity was a comfortable house and well equipped with crockery and basic equipment for cooking.
